After reading the other posts on the blog, I realized that I have a vast amount in common with other people, though my blog post was incredibly vague. I have the same goal as many people, to simply be successful in the future ahead, which is a broad expectation. A lot of people don’t read very often, and nor do I, so that is another thing we have in common. I thought that the question “What legacy do you want to leave?” sprung up a lot of more interesting answers.

By reading my classmates comments I learned many things, I learned that Sam Greeley has visited Spain and I think that is so cool because I could never imagine going to a country where I didn’t speak the dominant language. I also found out that Grace Sheckler likes the “Where’s Waldo” books because she doesn’t like reading, I found that interesting because I LOVE to read and it seems weird to me that some people don’t enjoy it. By reading Gloria Chun’s comment, I learned that she plans to be a pediatrician, and I thought that was a perfect fit for Gloria, because she always brings a smile to my face. Also, I learned that Hayley Winkler plans to have a career in social work and more specifically in the business of adopting children, that interests me because my mother was a social worker before she changed to a career in education. And lastly I learned that Katie Dunnett wants to be a third grade teacher, and I think that it’s really cool that she’s wanted to do that since she was in third grade.

The things I have in common with Grant Gose are multiple things. First off, we both wish to go to the University of Michigan when we’re done with high school. Another thing we have in common is that we both like The Hunger Games. Although I didn’t say The Hunger Games series was my favorite book, it is definitely one of my top three.

There are a few goals that Sam Greeley and I share. One of those goals is that we both wish to go to the University of Michigan. The other goal that we share is that we both wish to get an A in this class.

Along with my other classmates, there aren’t too many books that we all agree on. Although some of the books they posted about isn’t the one I said I liked, I do like their book choices. I have read and liked The Hunger Games and Speak with Grant Gose and Alex Hisey.

What I found to be most interesting about the rest of my classmates is the places they wish to go. Some want to go across the country to go to college while I really just want to stay home, make a family, and create a life. Along with a few others though, I do want to go to the University of Michigan and plan to stay in the Michigan-Ohio area.

Another interesting thing I learned from my classmates is how they give back to their community. I didn’t realize that many people helped the community a lot. Some of my classmates such as Megan Meade, worked at Mount Carmel at Gods Work which is something that I also participated in.

We both really don’t like to read any books, and lastly, it seemed interesting that he does the food drive.

    1) I learned that Joey Bandi and I both like English, and the same genre of books. I found the most interesting thing was that he had a brother; I thought he just had a sister.
    2) I found Grace’s post the most interesting, PS Grace I think you would be a great comedian. I would also like to be rich in ten years.
    3) Morgan Meade and I both like Philip Pullman’s novels( hey Morgan I think he is coming out with more books, like an afterword) we both are in the band and other sports and were in the NJHS together.
    4) I learned that Christian Ormsby liked reading the hobbit, I didn’t see that coming I thought he was a Harry Potter person. I also found out that we both worked at a food drive.
    5) I found out that Maura Petterson and if both like ADELE, and want to go to the same University.

I have learned many things about my classmates.
I learned that Morgan Meade wants to leave behind a legacy of breaking the stereotypes. I find this very interesting and also so awesome. There are so many stereotypes in our society and for wanting to twist the traditions, I applaud you!
I also learned that Sam Greeley visited Spain, and that’s so amazing because I would like to travel to Europe.
Katie Dunnett said she wanted to be a teacher, and I think that’s great because she is very good at explaining things.
Garret Magrum and I have the same kind of family; we both have a mom, dad, and one sister.
Lastly, Maura Peterson said she wants to go to the University of Michigan and I have looked into that college also!
